Today in Japan the Tamagotchi Meets “Sanrio Characters” version was released! The newest edition of the Meets adds 11 Sanrio characters that can be mixed with to create new Tamagotchi combinations. There are also four new locations to visit. The outer shell sports a design incorporating both Sanrio and Tamagotchi characters with a red checkered background and doily-like accents.
- Characters: Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Gudetama, Little Twin Stars Kiki and Lala, Kuromi, Keroppi, Tuxedosam and Badtz-Maru
- Locations: Strawberry Kingdom, Mariland, Star World and Puroland
The Tamagotchi Meets Sanrio Characters Version is currently on sale on Amazon’s Japanese website for ¥7,052 or roughly $65 USD. Luckily international shipping is available.
